Hi, I’m dolli!

...but you can also call me Rosie. I'm a digital illustrator and lover of neon who lives in San Antonio, Texas.

I've been drawing for the majority of my life, and doing digital art for well over half of it. Over the years, I've developed my own take on illustration that I call POPart. POPart is a philosophy that says that you can draw light-hearted, fun artwork that can still tackle serious issues and change the world. I do this by using bright colors, bold lines, and tongue-in-cheek humor, and I rely on girl-power themes and cool, confident women for much of my subject matter.

I have a keen interest in appropriating classic media and art themes - sci-fi/fantasy art, pinups, fashion illustration, etc - and interpreting them with a modern, feminist twist. A POPart girl knows who she is and is unapologetically herself - something I try to achieve in my day-to-day life, as well!

I have an enviable collection of scrapbook paper, a bachelor's in Art History that I've done nothing with, and a fantastic husband that I am attached to pretty much 24/7. Apart from drawing, I also enjoy cooking and eating, gaming (both tabletop and video), reading, crafting, sewing, working out, and bullet journaling.

While I lack any experience in "the industry," I am always striving to turn my love of illustration into a career - I've been selling my art online in the form of commissions and occasional freelance work for over a decade, have poured loads of love into my Patreon, and practice to improve my craft every single day.

Art is truly my biggest passion, and I consider it to be my absolute calling in life. 💕
